We went to the dog park this past weekend and Cailin is finally big enough (and the dogs were worn out enough) that she can walk the dogs all by herself.
Saturday was spent doing a lot of yard work. Cailin helped Daddy dig out some of the plants killed by Houston's freeze but she ended up with more of it on her than anything else.
She likes to dig in the flower bed and find snail shells.
She even escorted Daddy all around the yard as he mowed.
One of her favorite things is to read books. Whether we are reading to her or she is pretending to read to us or her dolls, she loves books. She even says "I like to read". Before bed we usually have to read at least 5 books and we sent her to bed with books that she will lay down and look at by herself before she falls asleep. As soon as she wakes up, she asks where her book is so we keep a stack at the foot of her bed. I think she's going to be my early reader. Maybe she'll be like her Daddy and teach herself how to read in kindergarten.
A couple weeks ago we met up with everyone at the townhouse to celebrate Mother's day and an early Cody's birthday.
